Duke for a Day
Come join us on an adventure for our admitted students and their families. Activities will include an information session on next steps for admitted students, a chance to see campus, a mock lecture from a JMU faculty member and the ability to visit various student support offices to get any questions answered that you may have.
Students and guests will be separated for portions of the event, but will rejoin each other for later activities.
Duke for a Day starts at 12:30pm, and your programmed day will end at 4pm, and should always include a trip to the JMU Bookstore to stock up on all the purple and gold you can find! We also encourage you to either come early for lunch on campus (available starting at 11 a.m.), or stay after the event for an early dinner (available starting at 4:30 p.m.) on campus. The admitted students receive a meal voucher compliments of JMU, other guests will pay a discounted rate at the door.
